The month of October is known as Breast Cancer Awareness month, and almost everyone in this country has had someone they know, who have been affected by Breast Cancer. CBD has been the center of quite a few studies, which promote recovery and prevention of many cancers, including Breast Cancer.
The National Library of Medicine is an excellent source of information, in regards to the research being performed, which explores CBD use for Breast Cancer management and prevention. One such article has researched using cannabidiol for inducing programmed cell death in breast cancer cells. Another research abstract from the National Library of Medicine details how CBD oil, with a low toxicity profile, has reduced gene expressions in aggressive cancer cells in a culture. This also talks about how various tests were done, which explored positive effects on CBD oil could reduce breast cancer cell proliferation, invasion, and metastasis.
Breast Cancer is still a disease, which needs all hands on deck to fight. In 2018 alone, there will be an estimated 266,166 new cases of Breast Cancer in the United States. Today our staff at Pro Leaf CBD, will be supporting BCA month, by making donations to the Susan G. Komen for the cure organization. If the use of CBD oil could potentially help manage illness or maybe even help prevent the disease from occurring in the first place, then it should be everyone's hope that awareness and supporting research will continue into the future.
